Thierry Weyd was born on the night from July 1st till August 1st of the same year of 1965. For this strange night, he develops a polymorphic poetic work.
Dilettante artist, Thierry Weyd is also publisher (La Manufacture des Cactées ), teacher (at the ésam Caen / Cherbourg and at the University of Caen) and diplomat (French ambassador of the Kingdoms of Elgaland~Vargaland).
His audiovisual concerts explore the popular culture and the narrative systems by a regular use of fragments of advertising images, narrative and musical tunes.
Commonplace objects, figurines and strange accessories constitute the miniature landscape and the musical instruments of his theatre of operations: a familiar space where tinker experiments of funny physics and a use of the old-fashioned processes conjugate to give rise to projection of images and manipulated sounds.
